Wood Cutting

It's been a really long time since my last blog. I was totally exhausted in the past months.
After waiting for 10 months, we finally met our adorable daughter. And I was able to have time work on lure making stuff after her five months.
Ok, back to wood cutting.
After came back to China, I was a little bit worried about sourcing lure making materials. I got most of my supplies from Hobbylobby in the Uniited States, and there 's not so many hobby stores in China. After weeks inquires, I ordered some balsa boards from a wholeseller. I'm impressed with the high quality and low price of their boards. These are thousand dollar worth balsa! That's a lifetime supply! LOL

I weighted those balsa with jewelry scale and computed their proximate densities and sorted for different usage.
For now, I'm gonna make some topwater walk-the-dog lures. I like to make lures in batches. Cutting the wood into same size efficiently is very important. I made a cutting jig that can break the board into identical three pieces. Let the pics talk!
