the best foil work I've done so far

Tried one of the batch in Japanese style -- Foiled it, and it turned out to be the best foil work I've ever done.

Here is some tips I learned,
1. the lure body has to be strong and smooth, especially working with soft wood like balsa. Without special treatment, balsa foiled work can be too fragile. I use super glue to harden the balsa, and then epoxy it to get a smooth surface.
2. The right glue makes work easier. I tried spray, and some other kinds glues. The one that works is a double-side tape for making a sticker. It was sold at Walmart. The tape was so thin. It's tricky to work with it, and once you used to it, it's amazing for foiling.
3. Use a soft cloth to rub the uneven foil, your finger sometimes scratches the foil. Yes, that's true!
4. Cut the scale after the foil applied
